Celebrating the Generous Support of John’s Island Foundation
Senior Resource Association announces grant funds from the John’s Island Foundation enhancing experiences for those involved with two of our flagship programs: Meals on Wheels and DayAway Adult Enrichment and Respite.
Thanks to this generous support, five retractable outdoor awnings protect volunteers, senior participants, and staff from inclement weather and harsh summer sun. These colorful new awnings in Vero Beach and Sebastian provide protection for our Meals on Wheels volunteers and DayAway participants during their daily activities.
“We are extremely grateful to John’s Island Foundation for its wonderful support,” said Senior Resource Association CEO Karen Deigl. “This grant makes a difference in two key SRA services, improving conditions for our dedicated volunteers and supporting outdoor activities for our DayAway participants.”
With this level of support, SRA can continue to elevate its programs.
