The Senior Resource Association (SRA) administers EHEAP (Emergency Home Energy Assistance for the Elderly Program), a program designed for Indian River County seniors who are experiencing an energy-related crisis.
You may be eligible to receive up to $600 in assistance through EHEAP if you meet all of the following criteria:
- Someone in the household is age 60 or older
- You have received a delinquent, past due or shut-off notice
- You are an Indian River County and a legal U.S. resident
- Have a gross annual household income that does not exceed $17,505 for one person Or $23,595 for two people and an additional $4,060 for each person in the household
*EHEAP benefits are only available twice yearly (heating and cooling seasons), and are subject to funding availability.
