Senior Resource Association’s Silver Tones choral group, sponsored by Kathie and Michael Pierce, began in 2007 with the vision of providing older adults (55+) with a meaningful musical outlet that encourages their unique talents and provides a service to the community.
How often do the Silver Tones perform?
The Silver Tones perform three seasonal concerts in December, February and April. Performances are hosted at First Presbyterian Church in Vero Beach. Smaller concerts are also available for private events throughout the year.
How can I join the Silver Tones?
Silver Tones is open to all adults age 55 and older. If you are interested in joining the Silver Tones, please attend choral practice. The practices are held on Thursdays from 10am to 12pm at First Presbyterian Church. For more information, please call 772.569.0760 or Email: email@example.com.
Who is the director?
The Silver Tones is under the direction of Jacob Craig, Director of Music and Arts of First Presbyterian Church in Vero Beach. Jacob received his Bachelor of Music Education and Performance degree from Shorter University in Rome, Georgia and his Masters in Music in Choral Conducting and Literature at Florida State University under Dr. Andre Thomas. Choral groups under Jacob’s direction have won numerous awards and competitions at both local and state levels.
