EMERGENCY HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE FOR THE ELDERLY PROGRAM (EHEAP)

Senior Resource Association administers EHEAP, a program designed for Indian River County seniors who are experiencing an energy-related crisis.

You could receive up to $5000 in energy assistance through EHEAP if you meet the program eligibility requirements, including:

• A household member is at least 60 years old
• You’ve received a delinquent, past due or shut-off notice from your power provider
• You’re an Indian River County and legal U.S. resident
• Your gross annual household income does not exceed $25,296 for one person or $33,079 for two people. For each additional person, add $7,784 for allowable household income.
