The Emergency Home Energy Assistance for the Elderly Program is a vital assistance program administered by Senior Resource Association. Energy assistance serves as a lifeline for seniors who are navigating energy challenges, helping to keep essential devices running. The program provides support to eligible households facing energy-related crises or low-energy emergencies.

These funds help pay for repairs to existing heating or cooling equipment or re-connection fees. Depending on the nature of the emergency, you may instead receive vouchers to purchase necessary items.

When issuing supplies, the fund payments are made directly to the vendor or by a two-party check for electricity, natural gas, propane, wood/coal, and refillable fuels.

Energy assistance benefits are subject to funding availability.
