Senior Resource Association’s Social Dining Program offers more than just a hot, nutritious lunch—it provides a welcoming and supportive environment for mobile seniors to connect, engage, and build meaningful relationships.
These community-centered sites encourage seniors, especially those who may be experiencing social isolation or loneliness, to come together in a friendly, inclusive atmosphere. Whether individuals are unable to prepare meals on their own or simply wish to enjoy the companionship of others, the program fosters a sense of belonging and connection.
Social Dining Eligibility
- 60 years or older
- Indian River County resident
- Nutrition assessment required
The program is free and open to eligible seniors.

Volunteer
SRA seeks friendly, caring volunteers to support our Social Dining Program.
Volunteers assist with:
- Serving meals
- Light setup and cleanup
- Offering companionship to seniors—many of whom are isolated or living alone
All volunteers must pass a background check and help promote food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with program guidelines.
Just a few hours of your time can make a meaningful difference in someone’s day!
